Boarding adds an overnight stay to the farm day. Outdoor activity, Basic learning and indoor settling are part of the care day, with group fit assessed for the individual dog.
Basic learning is part of both daycare and boarding. A first overnight stay still asks more of a dog than a familiar care day, so the evaluation and your dog's usual routine matter.

Tell us what your dog is used to, then confirm the arrangements that matter before booking an overnight stay.
One dog may already know the farm from daycare and need a conversation about the overnight change. Another may be new to shared travel, groups and sleeping away from home. Those are different first stays even if the booking is for the same number of nights. Ask how your dog will be assessed for the ride and group, what its day and overnight arrangement would be, and how its usual feeding or other care needs can be handled. Confirm the full quote before deciding.
The RSPCA's boarding guidance suggests asking about the setting and how dogs are monitored. Use those as questions for any provider; its England-specific rules are not Maryland policy.

- How much is boarding?
- From $75 a night, with pickup and drop off included. Longer stays and dogs on a training plan are priced differently, and we tell you the number before the stay.
- Where does my dog actually sleep?
- Your dog stays at the Mt. Airy property overnight. Ask how the overnight arrangement fits your dog when discussing the first stay.
- What happens if my dog gets ill?
- Tell us about any health needs before a stay and confirm how they can be handled. One owner describes Michael taking their ill dog to veterinary hospitals while they were away; that account is not a standing medical protocol.
- Will my dog come back with bad habits?
- Basic training is part of the day, but a dog's response to a first stay varies. Tell us about the home routine you want to keep and ask what your dog did during the stay.
- Do you board dogs that are reactive?
- Possibly. Describe what happens and any bite history before the evaluation. Boarding, shared travel and group care are individual fit decisions.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Sooner for holidays, which fill first. Call and we will tell you what is left.
