Overnight boarding
A farm to stay on.Not a run to sit in.
Your dog boards where it spends the day, in a routine it already knows, with training built in. From $75 a night across the DMV, pickup included.

What boarding here is
The same day, and then they stay
A boarding dog gets the day every other dog gets. Open ground, the group, the field, and then indoors to settle. Boarding is not a holding pattern between drop off and collection.
That is why owners tell us their dog comes home better rather than wired. Nothing about the day changes because you happen to be away.
Exactly how a day runsIncluded at no extra cost

Boarding with training
If your dog is going to be here anyway, the stay can be built around a custom training plan. The evaluation sets the starting point, then the work changes as your dog responds.

From boarding clients
What they say
“We brought our rescue dog Otto home at 5 months old—he was extremely timid, anxious, had never been on a leash, and would bark at every person and dog. Michael didn't just train our dog—he trained us to be the kind of owners our dog needed. With incredible patience, he guided us through everything from leash walking and socialization to crate and house training, and was always there when we needed help, no matter the time. The transformation has been unbelievable—Otto is now more confident, calm, and happy. Michael truly cares and treats him like his own, and Otto absolutely adores him like a 2nd parent. We only trust Michael for boarding because he always comes back better, never with bad habits like elsewhere. If your dog has anxiety or behavioral challenges, I can't recommend him enough—he truly has a gift.”
“Michael and crew at RajaK9 have been so helpful to our dog and family. We have a large dog that grew more and more reactive and territorial as he grew into adulthood. Michael and his team spent a week boarding and training our dog to wear a muzzle and respond less aggressively to stranger dogs and people. Then Michael trained us how to better guide our dog's behavior and has provided tuneups ever since. We now board our dog with Raja when we travel and send him for daycare 2 days per week. Having a reactive dog is a journey - we're so happy to have RajaK9 to guide us.”
“We love having Michael and his team as our dog's trainer and boarder. She is quite a nervous and traumatized dog who Michael has helped tremendously in her behavior both with people and other dogs. Michael always goes above and beyond, such as when she got sick while boarding and we were out of the country - he saved her life by taking her to two different vet hospitals and making sure she got the necessary care for a rare condition. Michael is both exceptionally gifted with animals and just a tremendous all around person. Highly recommended!”
Questions
About boarding
- How much is boarding?
- From $75 a night, with pickup and drop off included. Longer stays and dogs on a training plan are priced differently, and we tell you the number before the stay.
- Where does my dog actually sleep?
- On the property, in the same routine it has during the day. It is a working farm rather than a boarding kennel with rows of runs.
- What happens if my dog gets ill?
- We deal with it and we tell you straight away. One of our clients was abroad when their dog fell ill and Michael took her to two different vet hospitals to get it sorted.
- Will my dog come back with bad habits?
- That is the usual worry. Training is part of every day here, so dogs generally come back better than they left rather than wound up.
- Do you board dogs that are reactive?
- Often, yes. A good part of our boarding is dogs other places would not take. The evaluation decides it.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Sooner for holidays, which fill first. Call and we will tell you what is left.
Boarding includes the same van, group time and daily routine. The evaluation lets us see how your dog handles that setting before its first stay. See what the evaluation checks.
Start with the evaluation.
An hour with your dog, in your home or at the farm. You will know what it needs and whether we are the right people to do it.
